How to Apply
Application Procedure for Malaysian Applicants
Applications for Bachelor Degree and Foundation Studies Programmes offered by the University of Malaya can be made online through the Student Intake Administration Division, Ministry of Higher Education.

The programmes are offered to applicants who meet the University’s prerequisites and the specific programmes requirements.

The application deadlines for the specific qualifications are as follows:
Applicants with Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
2 November 2009 - 31 December 2009 (Phase 1)
2 February 2010 - 30 March 2010 (Phase 2)
Applicants with Diplomas or Equivalent Qualification
4 January 2010 - 4 February 2010
Applicants with Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
2 February 2010 to 10 working days after the results announcement
Applicants with Matriculation
10 December 2009 - 10 January 2010 (Phase 1)
18 - 23 May 2010 (Phase 2)
To apply, candidates must first obtain a unique ID number from BSN outlets all over Malaysia by paying:
 
Candidates with SPM/equivalent - RM 10.60
Candidates with STPM/STAM/equivalent - RM 15.60
 
Application Procedure for International Applicants
